This concentrates very much on developing literacy skill whilst working on the types of questions that students will see on their exam -not losing sight of the fact that different schools will follow a different exam process and structure. Comprehension exercises developing confidence in analysis and summary techniques, together with creative writing , inevitably forms a core part of the sessions. Equally, spelling, punctuation and grammar forms an important part of our work.
Verbal Reasoning
Verbal reasoning is all about thinking with words. Lessons concentrate on developing effective strategies to approach questions with confidence and skill focusing on working and reworking questions sharing good practices.
Non Verbal Reasoning
Non verbal reasoning concerns the use of visual information to solve problems. This process of understanding and analysis to identify relationships and sequences is developed by confirming effective strategies to approach questions with confidence and skill.Lessons focus on working and reworking questions sharing good practices.
Maths
Various question types are practiced so that all the mathematical skills are understood. Practice builds confidence and improves grade outcome.
